If you want to reach a huge world of potential buyers for your item(s), you have come to the right place. Here are a few starters to keep in mind:

• To sell on Auction, you need to register and create your account first. It's free and will take just a few minutes to sign up. To register, click here.
• Next, gather the information you will need, including:
• A clear and compelling title and description for your item.
• Exact weight, height, and dimension of the item for shipping purposes.
• Picture(s) of your item - you can use pictures saved on your computer or enter the website address for pictures hosted on the Web.
• Choose the most appropriate category (or categories) so potentioal buyers can find your item easily.
• Click on SELL on the upper portion of the Auction.ph's homepage.
• You will be directed to your inventory - click on Register New Item. Fill in all the required fields. After you upload an image, click on Continue button and then Post.

A seller has three (3) selling formats to choose from. They are:

1. Auction
   Auction, also know as normal bidding, is the most basic selling format at Auction.ph. Seller lists an item for bidding, gives the starting bid price and reserve price (optional), waits for bids until the end of the auction and then sells to the highest bidder. Under this format, you may sell more than one (1) unit of the same item by posting the item in multiple entries.

   

2. Shopping
   Shopping is another seller's option whereby items are listed with unchanging / set price with no auction-style bidding.

   

3. Bargains
   This selling format is similar to shopping, where sellers uses a fixed price format, however, percentage discounts is extended, thus the name - 'Bargains'. The buyer need not go through the regular bidding or auction to purchase items under this selling method. This is an exciting way to lists one's item as it captures the attention of buyers who are looking for cheap but quality buys.

   

4. Cooperative Buying
   Sellers with a large inventory of items can post their items under Cooperative where items can be purchased by bulk. Should your item qualify, we will send an email confirming that your item will be posted under Cooperative Buying.
   
   Auction.ph’s Cooperative Buying (CO-OP) is based on three basic elements: the Regular Price (see #1), which is the original price of the item; CO-OP Price (see #2) which is the item’s possible marked-down price; and the Quantity Reserved Tracker (see #3) which counts the number of Buyers who have reserved and indicated interest in the item.

   

   Buyers must first join CO-OP buying for the item until the number of Quantity reaches the seller prescribed number which can be seen below the CO-OP Price (see #2). The CO-OP Price takes effect once the presc ribed number is met, and all those who joined CO-OP can avail the item at the stated CO-OP Price. All those who join after CO-OP price takes effect can avail the item at CO-OP Price as well.

Yes, you may sell more than one (1) unit of the same item. You may use Auction and post using Multiple Item Listing, or for items in huge quantities, you may sell it under Cooperative Buying.

My Auction has allotted a category for selling. Here you can check if your items were sold or not Make sure you check this page regularly to make sure you do not miss on the deadlines to avoid conflicts and negative feedbacks.

My Inventory is used to conveniently manage all your items for sale in the website. In here, you may register a new item, view your inventory and place items in the item archive.

A. Register New Item

Before you can post an item for sale, you need to register it first. To register an item in your inventory, follow these easy steps:

1. From the Auction.ph home page, click Sell. You must be signed in to access this page. Under My Inventory, choose the Register New Item tab.
2. Select the most appropriate category for the item. Fill-out required product information and upload images.



3. Click Continue.
4. Review the product information you entered and click Register Item.
5. A confirmation will be displayed if you register an item successfully.

To post a registered item, go to Item Inventory and click the corresponding Post Item action button of the item.

B. Item Inventory

The Item Inventory lists and manages all your registered items for posting. Sellers are provided free inventory space to hold their items. Seller can store unlimited number of items in their inventory.

Item Inventory Actions

You can use five actions (Post Item, Post in Auction.ph E-Mall, Edit Item, Archive and Delete) to manage your Item Inventory.

a. Post Item

After registering an item, you may post it under a selling method or among the specialty stores in Auction.ph E-Mall. To post an item, follow these steps:

1. Click Sell from the Auction.ph home page. You must be signed in to access this page. Under My Inventory, choose the Item Inventory tab. The inventory of your items will be displayed.
2. Locate the item you want to post for sale. Click the corresponding View Actions button of the item and choose Post Item.



3. Select your preferred selling type (Auction, Shopping or Bargains). You also have the option to post the item in the Auction.ph E-Mall. Fill-out the required information. Carefully read the instructions.



4. Click Continue.
5. Review the product information you entered and click Post Item.
6. A confirmation will be displayed if you post an item successfully.

b. Post in Auction.ph E-Mall

Post in Auction.ph E-Mall allows you to post your items in specialty stores to cater to your targeted Buyers. Choose from the Super Saver Store, Fashion LifeStyle, Gadgetopia, Buy 1 Get 1 and P10 Auctions. To post an item in the Auction.ph E-Mall, follow these steps:

1. Click Sell from the Auction.ph home page. You must be signed in to access this page. Under My Inventory, choose the Item Inventory tab. The inventory of your items will be displayed.
2. Locate the item you want to post for sale. Click the corresponding View Actions button of the item and choose Post in Auction.ph E-Mall.
3. Select the best store for your item. See the store descriptions and qualifications to check if you are eligible to join or apply.



4. Fill-out the required information. Carefully read the instructions.
5. Click Continue.
6. Review the product information you entered and click Post Item.
7. A confirmation will be displayed if you post an item successfully.

c. Edit Item
To modify the information you entered for a registered item:

1. Click Sell from the Auction.ph home page. You must be signed in to access this page. Under My Inventory, choose the Item Inventory tab. The inventory of your items will be displayed.
2. Locate the item you want to post for sale. Click the corresponding View Actions button of the item and choose Edit Item.



3. Edit the fields you prefer to modify.
4. Click Continue.
5. Review the product information you entered and click Register Item.
6. A confirmation will be displayed if you edit an item successfully.

Please be reminded that you cannot edit an item that has received a bid, purchase application or sold a certain quantity.

d. Archive

The Item Archive contains items you choose to keep for future sale. To move an item in Item Archive:

1. Click Sell from the Auction.ph home page. You must be signed in to access this page. Under My Inventory, choose the Item Inventory tab. The inventory of your items will be displayed.
2. Locate the item you want to post for sale. Click the corresponding View Actions button of the item and choose Archive.



3. The selected item will be automatically moved in the Item Archive.

e. Delete

To delete an item from your inventory:

1. Click Sell from the Auction.ph home page. You must be signed in to access this page. Under My Inventory, choose the Item Inventory tab. The inventory of your items will be displayed.
2. Locate the item you want to post for sale. Click the corresponding View Actions button of the item and choose Delete.



3. Click OK to delete the item. The selected item will be deleted from the inventory.

Be careful in deleting an item. A deleted item can no longer be retrieved or restored. An item with an “Active” status cannot be deleted from the inventory.

C. Item Archive

The Item Archive contains items you choose to keep for future sale. To move an item back to the Item Inventory, select the check box and click Move to Inventory.

Only inactive items can be moved in the Item Archive.

• Log in your username and password.

  

• Click on 'Sell' located on the upper portion of the Auction.ph home page.
• From your inventory, you may choose to activate items which are previously saved in your list. Just mouse over VIEW ACTIONS and click on POST ITEM.

  

• You can also register new item by clicking 'Register New Item'.

  

• Select the main category and sub-category appropriate for your item.
• Fill the necessary fields and upload image.
• You can post the item right away after necessary fields have been filled in and after you upload an image. You can also post it on a later date.

To prevent members from posting hoax items, Auction.ph will be charging posting fees for the items activated, based on the item’s starting price or reserve price and selling price (for shopping and bargains).
For the first six (6) months of operations, the posting fee will be waived.

Your image must be in JPEG, GIF and PNG format, with maximum dimensions of 320 x 240 pixels for digital camera-taken pics or 640 x 480 pixels for cellphone taken pics. You can also indert GIF images in the item description.

You may post a maximum of three (3) photos per item.

Just click on the SELL tab and you will see all of your items in your Inventory. Click on Register New Item if you have not previously saved the item in your Inventory.

Mouse over View Actions and click on EDIT ITEM if you want to update the item description or change the image.

Mouse over VIEW ACTIONS and click the POST ITEM Button if you want to re-post the item.

Choose from the four selling formats. Fill in all the required fields, make sure you double check on the prices you have input.

Submit and confirm.

Your item is now activated and ready to sell. All you have to do is to monitor your item in your Selling under My Auction.

Yes, you may re-post unsold items. Applicable fees shall apply for re-posting.

Just click on the SELL tab and you will see all of your items in your Inventory.

Mouse over VIEW ACTIONS and click on EDIT ITEM if you want to update the item description or change the image.

Mouse over VIEW ACTIONS and click the POST ITEM button if you want to re-post the item.

Choose from the four selling formats. Fill in all the required fields, make sure you double check on the prices you have input.

Submit and confirm.

Your item is now activated and ready to sell. All you have to do is to monitor your item in your Selling under My Auction.

Adding Single Option:
To add one level of options, only use Option 1 in the Order Options Table.

1. Enter the type of option (Example: Size) on top of the Option 1 column.

2. Input the options in the fields provided (Example: Small, Medium, Large).

3. Place how many items are available per option (Example: Small = 5, Medium = 2, Large = 7).

4. Make sure that the Final Item Count in the Order Options Table is equivalent to your item’s Quantity.

Adding Two Options:

1. Enter the type of option in Option 1 (Example: Size) and Option 2 (Example: Color).

2. Input the options in the Option 1 fields (Example: Small, Medium, Large) and in the Option 2 fields (Example: Black, Red, Blue).

3. Indicate the number of items matching the combination of Option 1 and Option 2 (Example: Red–Small = 5, Red–Medium = 5, Red–Large = 5).

4. The Final Item Count in the Order Options Table should be the same with your item’s Quantity.

Combination Options:
You can also make multiple combinations by customizing Option 1, Option 2, or both.

1. Enter the option combination in Option 1 (Example: Color and Size) and Option 2 (Example: Style and Fabric).

2. Input the options in the Option 1 fields (Example: Red-Small, Red-Medium, Red–Large) and Option 2 fields (Example: Crew Neck-Cotton, Crew Neck-Silk, V-Neck-Cotton, V-Neck-Silk)

3. Indicate the number of items available for the combination of Option 1 and Option 2. (Example: Red–Small/Crew Neck-Cotton = 5, Red–Small/Crew Neck-Silk = 5, Red–Medium/V-Neck-Cotton = 5, Red–Medium/V-Neck-Silk = 5)

4. Be sure that the Final Item Count in the Order Options Table is equal to the Quantity of your items.

Add/Remove Item Options
Additional items can be added to a listing. To add an item, follow these simple steps:

1. Enter the Item Type (Example: Hard Disk).

2. Input the Model, Price and Quantity.

3. For each Item Type (Example: Hard Disk), you can list one or more items (Example: Maxtor, Seagate) by clicking on the Add Row Button. To remove a row, simply choose the Remove Row Button. The last row will be deleted.

4. To add another Item Type (Example: DVD Drive), click on the Add Item Button. To remove an Item Type, select the Remove Item Button. The last Item Type will be removed from the list.

The Auto Posting Frequency will indicate how many times you would like your items to be re-posted automatically. Thus, if you would like to have your items re-posted four times, then you may do so. The maximum number of auto posting frequency is 4. Afterwhich, your Auto Posting function will be disabled.

The Auto Posting Interval will indicate how many days before your items will automatically be posted. The intervals will be the number of days in between the Auto Posting frequency.

The Auto Posting end date will indicate when the Auto Posting function will automatically be disabled. The Auto Posting end date will be based on the Auto Posting Frequency and the Auto Posting interval.

When you post your item, you will see the Auto Posting function under Duration. Enable the function and fill up the required fields.

Yes you can cancel your Auto Posting function. Just go to the My Auction- All Selling – Postings. Press the “Cancel Auto Posting” button and it will cancel your Auto Posting function. However, your item will remain posted until the duration date has lapsed.

The Auto Posting function will make seller’s life easier! You don’t have to worry about re-posting your item time and again! The Auto Posting Function will do that for you.

However, you have to make sure that the same price applies all throughout the Auto Posting period and that you have sufficient quantities. In the event that your quantities are all bought, the Auto Posting function is automatically terminated.

If your item is sold, an email will be sent to your winning bidder or buyer informing him/her of the payment methods accepted and other instructions. Your buyer has a maximum of seven (7) days to process the payment. All items sold are listed in your My Auction > All Selling > Sell - Escrow.

As a seller you should wait for a confirmation email from Auction.ph stating that payment for the item has been received and you will be notified to deliver the item in the soonest possible time.

Once item is delivered, go to My Auction > All Selling > Sell - Escrow > Deliver and click on Delivered to indicate that the item has been shipped.

Upon buyer's confirmation of delivery, the payment is automatically deposited into your RCBC Commercial or Union Bank account via Auction.ph’s AutoRemittance System.

If you selected AutoRemittance via E-Money, the payment for your item is automatically credited to your E-Money 1 account.  Transaction payments converted to E-Money may be converted into cash by scheduling an E-Money Withdrawal. Withdrawals shall be processed within Two (2) business days from date of request. Funds shall be credited to your RCBC Commercial or Union Bank account. The minimum amount for E-Money Withdrawal is five hundred pesos (P500.00).

Currently Auction.ph can transfer funds to RCBC and Union Bank accounts only. No transaction fees required.  

To withdraw from your E-Money Account, go to My Auction > My Account > E-Money Account and then click Withdraw E-Money. Input the amount you want to convert into cash and choose the transfer method you prefer.

An auction may only be closed if: (a) there are no more items to purchase – in the case of cooperative buying, (b) if the bidder used the ‘Buy Now’, (c) if the current bid price reached the ‘Buy Now’ price. The seller must cancel the auction 5 hours prior to the ending time.

A seller can cancel the items earlier only if he/she has a valid reason for canceling. In case a member had already bid on that item and seller wants to cancel, he/she should inform the bidder and give the reason for canceling.It is the right of the bidder to leave a negative feedback if she/he wishes to.

The buyer should remit payment within seven (7) days after winning the bid. If there is no confirmation of the payment within seven (7) days after the end of the auction, Auction.ph shall regard it as a refusal to purchase and the transaction shall be considered cancelled.

If a buyer forgets or fails to confirm receipt of delivery after 7 days, you should make a request for payment remittance to Auction.ph. A seller is required to provide a scanned copy of the delivery receipt and email it to helpdesk@auction.ph or a seller may also fax the delivery receipt at 045-599-7035. After Auction.ph receives the said documents, the remittance of payment to your account will be processed.

A seller is required to deliver the item to the buyer first before payment is remitted. Once item has been shipped, the buyer has to confirm receipt of Delivery by going to My Auction > All Buying > Buy - Escrow. The buyer has to click ACCEPT button to close the sale.

An entry will then be created in your Remittance List found in MyAuction>My Account> Account Overview tab. This entry will show you when the payment will be deposited to your bank account or credited to your E-Money account.

Go to My Auction > All Selling > Sell - Escrow. Click on the buyer's user ID to display their contact details.

Auto-remittance alllows sellers to automatically convert buyer payments into E-money or deposit it into a pre-specified bank account. This speeds up the time your money gets to you by skipping the "Request Pay-out " process.

Upon delivering an item, you must choose an AutoRemittance method. There are currently two options available to you - Bank Deposit via RCBC Commercial or Union Bank, or via E-Money.

For AutoRemittance via E-Money:

1. Select "Convert this transaction to E-Money."

Your transaction will then be automatically credited to your E-Money account. You may use E-Money to make purchases on the site, or withdraw from your E-Money account and transfer it to your bank account.

For AutoRemittance via Bank Deposit:

1. Select "Deposit to this Bank Account."

2. Select your bank from the drop down menu.

3. Enter your account name, account number, and bank branch.

Please note that should there be errors in the information you supplied, your transaction will automatically be credited to you E-Money account. You may use E-Money to make purchases on the site, or withdraw from your E-Money account and transfer it to your bank account.

For AutoRemittance via Globe GCash:

1. Select "Deposit to GCash."

2. Enter your Name and GCash Registered Globe Telecom or TM Mobile number.

Please note that should there be errors in the information you supplied, your transaction will automatically be credited to you E-Money account. You may use E-Money to make purchases on the site, or withdraw from your E-Money account and transfer it to your bank account or GCash Account.
