Yes, here is a short checklist to guide you before buying on Auction.Ph:

1. Research and learn everything about the item. Read the item description and details carefully. Do you understand and will be able to meet the seller’s requirements on payment, shipping and other important details? Do not assume on some details which are not specified. Better ask the seller for some clarifications before placing your bid. Also: research on the price of the item from other listings or other online stores and make sure the item you are interested in is allowed and legal.
2. Check the seller’s feedback and ask questions as needed. Look at the feedbacks left by other Auction.Ph members and see both positive and negative comments for your seller. Also, if you are unsure about any aspect of the item, click the ‘Ask seller a question’ link from the item page and you will be redirected to the message box section, where you will simply type your question and send it to the seller.
3. Decide on the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item. When you are done researching and has no doubts whatsoever on the item, you must decide on the maximum price that you are willing to pay.
4. Consider ‘Buy Now’. If the item you are interested in has a ‘Buy Now’ option, consider purchasing the item at this amount. In this way, you are the guaranteed winner and you will get the item sooner.
5. Be serious in every bid that you enter. If you intend to purchase only one item, do not bid on similar items from multiple sellers.  This may lead to you winning on more than one auction.
6. Always update your contact details and e-mail address. Ensure that your personal data is correct. Auction.Ph communicates with its members mostly through e-mail.
7. Ensure alternative ways to access Auction.Ph. To monitor your bids, make sure you have other means of accessing the internet if you are not home. Or you may get updates through Auction.Ph’s mobile services (soon to be available).

Through My Auction, you will be able to track all bids you made, your current status for each, and track all the purchase you made. Make sure you check this page regularly to make sure you do not miss out on deadlines to avoid conflicts and negative feedbacks. All items that you need to pay for are listed under My Auction > All Buying > Buy Escrow.

"Buy Now" - allows you to skip the online auction process and get your item of choice sooner at a published set price. The amount may not include shipping and other charges.

Here are the steps in purchasing an item with a 'Buy Now' option:

1. When you see the "Buy Now" box beside an item of your choice, you have the option to buy it immediately at the published set price without waiting for the auction to end.
2. Click on the item name or image. Input the quantity you want to buy, and then click on the BUY NOW button.

   

3. Pay for the item. You may choose from the various payment options we provide and follow the procedures for paying. Go to My Auction > All Buying > Buy-Escrow and then click on Pay.

   

4. A confirmation of receipt of payment will be sent to you via e-mail or SMS (soon to be available) the item will be shipped to you through the seller's selected mode of delivery.

   

"Shopping" is another buyer's option whereby items are listed with fixed prices. Unlike with Auction, in this buying option, purchasing the item will automatically end its posting.

Below are the procedures in buying with "Shopping":

1. If you want to buy items with fixed prices, search under the "Shopping" page.
2. If you find an item you like for sale, click on the Item Title/Description and carefully look at the details.
3. Click on the 'Buy Now' button if you want to buy the item. A notification e-mail will be sent to you within 24 hours containing details and instructions about your payment and what to do next.
4. Pay for the item within seven (7) days after receiving the notification. You may choose form the various payment options we provide and follow the procedures for paying. To pay for the item go to My Auction > All Buying > Buy-Escrow and then click on "Pay".

   

5. A confirmation of receipt of payment will be sent to you via e-mail or SMS (soon to be available) then the item will be shipped to you through the seller's selected mode of delivery.

"Bargains" is very much similar to shopping, where items are quoted with fixed prices, however, percentage discounts is extended, thus the name- 'Bargains'. This is a great buying option for those who are searching for item/s which are but with good quality.

Below are the procedures in buying with "Bargains":

1. If you want to buy cheap but quality items, search under the "Bargains" page.
2. If you find any item you like for sale, click on the Item Title/Description and carefully look at the details.
3. Click on the 'Buy Now' button if you want to buy the item. A notification e-mail will be sent to you within 24hours containing details and instructions about you payment and what to do next.
4. Pay for the item within seven (7) days after receiving the notification. You may choose from the various payment options we provide and follow the procedures for paying. To pay for the item go to My Auction --> All Buying --> Buy-Escrow --> and then click on Pay.
5. A confirmation of receipt of payment will be sent to you via e-mail or SMS (soon to be available) then the item will be shipped to you through the seller's selected mode of delivery.
   

To pay for a purchased item, go to My Auction > All Buying > Buy-Escrow and then click PAY.

To make buying in Auction.ph easy and convenient, we offer the following payment options to our valued members:

1. Megalink Online ATM/Debit card transfer - You can transfer funds to Auction.ph online from your Megalink-member bank accounts. Below are the member banks:
• Asia Trust Bank
• Bank of Commerce
• Development Bank of the Philippines
• Insular Savings Bank
• International Exchange Bank
• Keppel Monte Bank
• Maybank
• Prudential Bank
• Union Bank

No more queuing in banks. All you need to do is to indicate your account and pin number to pay for your purchases. Megalink's The PORT shall process the transactions for you. Members shall shoulder all the bank charges relative to their transaction. A minimum of Php 20.00 transaction fee will be charged to Megalink cardholders.

2. Bancnet Online - You can also transfer funds to Auction.ph from your Bancnet-Member bank accounts. Below are the member banks:
• Allied Bank
• China Banking Corporation
• Chinatrust Bank
• Citystate Savings Bank
• Metrobank
• PBCom
• Philtrust
• RCBC
• RCBC Savings Bank
• Standard Chartered Bank

Members shall shoulder all the bank charges relative to their transaction. A minimum of Php 8.00 will be charged to Bancnet cardholders as transaction fee.

3. Bills Payment - You can also choose this payment method in paying your bills at Auction.ph. There are two collection channels available for you - Over-the-Counter (OTC) and Automated Teller Machine (ATM- Soon to be available).
   
   

   For Over-the-Counter transactions:

   A. Go to any RCBC branch and fill-out three (3) copies of ‘Bills Collection Slip’ completely.

   • Under 'Biller/Company Name', place Auction.ph
   • Under ‘Subscriber/Policy/Card Number’, write the ACCOUNT NUMBER of the item you are paying for.
   • Under ‘Subscriber/Policy Holder/Cardholder Name’, write the name you registered with Auction.ph
   • Under ‘Total Payment’, place the same amount as reflected from your Statement of Account

   B. Attach the Statement of Account you printed from Auction.ph website. If you have not printed the Statement of Account, go to My Auction under Account » Pending Deposit. Look for the item you will be paying and then click Bills Payment.

   C. Enter the reference number of the item you are paying. (Note: This may be found in the Statement of Account generated from the website.)

   D. Enter the exact amount, as indicated in the Statement of Account.

   E. Wait for your transaction to be processed.

   F. Get the transaction receipt and keep for reference.

4. E-Money - You can use E-Money1 (or the Cashable type) as payment of the item/s, in part or in full. Your E-Money account can be loaded anytime by depositing a specific amount from your Virtual Account and converting it into E-Money. To do this, simply go to your E-Money account in My Auction. Enter the amount you want to convert and click Convert to E-Money. Make sure that your Virtual Account has an available balance to make the conversion possible.
5. Globe GCash - If you are a Globe Telecom or TM (Post-paid or Pre-paid) subscriber, you may pay for items using Globe GCash. To use GCash, select GCash as the payment option. Make sure that your mobile number is registered to use GCash and has enough funds to pay for the item. To know more, please refer to our GCash FAQ. Globe charges a flat-rate of P25.00 per transaction.
6. Credit Card - Make a one-time payment with your credit card (this payment facility will be made available soon).

The item will be delivered by the designated logistics company of your seller. Please allow 2-7days for delivery, depending on the location of the seller and the winning buyer.

If you have not received the purchased item, you should send a message of non-receipt to Auction.ph through e-mail after 20 days from the date of sending the seller indicated in the website. In such case, the Company shall immediately send an e-mail notification of non-receipt to the seller. If seller cannot present any evidence of delivery within seven (7) days after notification, the Company shall refund your purchase money.

When a buyer gets the item, he/she should go to My Auction, click on All Buying, click on Buy-Escrow, and then click on Delivered. A buyer has to click on the BUY button to confirm and close the sale. This action would also prompt the system to remit the payment to the seller. However a buyer can request for REFUND if he/she feels that the item is found to be defective or not as was describe in the item description. A buyer can also ask for EXCHANGE.

1. Go to My Auction. Click on All Buying>Buy-Escrow.



2. Click the Pay button of the item you wish to buy.
3. Choose Megalink as your preferred payment method. Complete the shipping form and click Continue.



4. Review transaction details and click Pay Item.



5. Read the Megalink Issuer Bank and Cardholder Agreement and click Agree.








6. Select ATM/Debit Card as Payment Type.



7. Select your Megalink Member Bank. Enter Card Number, PIN Number and Email Address. Then select your Account Type.



8. Click Pay.



9. After your transaction is processed, Megalink will send a confirmation message to the e-mail you specified and will redirect you to the payment success page.

1. Go to My Auction. Click on All Buying>Buy-Escrow.



2. Click the Pay button of the item you wish to buy.
3. Choose BancNet Online as your preferred payment method. Complete the shipping form and click Continue.



4. Review transaction details and click Pay Item.



5. Select your BancNet Member Bank and click Submit. For this example, we will use RCBC.





6. Fill-in the following information and click Pay:
• Card Number
• Account Type
• ATM Pin


*Member Number is not required.

7. Print transaction details and keep as reference.

1. Go to My Auction. Click on All Buying>Buy-Escrow.



2. Click the Pay button of the item you wish to buy.
3. Choose E-Money as your preferred payment method. Complete the shipping form and click Continue.



4. Review transaction details and click Pay Item.



5. A confirmation page will be displayed if transaction is successful.

3. Choose Bills Payment (thru RCBC) as your preferred payment method. Complete the shipping form and click Continue.



4. Review transaction details and click Pay Item.



5. A confirmation page which includes your statement of account will be displayed. Print your Statement of Account to transact with authorized bank.





6. Go to any authorized bank branch (RCBC) and fill-out three (3) copies of Bills Collection Slip. See example below:


a. Select Bills Collection as type of transaction
b. Biller/Company Name: Auction.ph Corporation
c. Account Number/Subscriber/Policy/Card Number: Account Number found in the Statement of Account
d. Subscriber/Policy Holder/Cardholder Name: Full name you registered with Auction.ph
e. Select Peso as Payment Currency
f. Total Payment: Total Amount reflected in the Statement of Account





7. Attach the Statement of Account you printed from Auction.ph website. If you have not printed the Statement of Account, go to My Auction>Account>Pending Deposit). Look for the item you will be paying and then click Bills Payment.
8. Wait for your transaction to be processed.
9. Get the transaction receipt and keep as reference.

6. Upon receiving item from Seller, go to My Auction>All Buying>Buy-Escrow and click Accept.*
